The net4826 motherboard provides a powered USB 1.1 port on the four pins at the left edge of the board. Use this adapter to connect a flash reader, hard drive, ethernet adapter, wireless device, usb hub, or just about any other USB 1.1 device. Metrix Pyramid Linux already provides support for storage devices like flash and hard drives.
Here is a Metrix Mark II using the on-board USB to connect to a self-powered hard drive (not included). This was used to provide a squid http cache for 150 wireless users at the Seattle MindCamp 1.0 event.
